The main argument the republicans use for keeping the Bush tax cuts is that small businesses file their taxes as an individual and thus if they make more then the 250k then they would get a tax hike thus forcing them to cut costs (i.e layoffs). How is this false? Is there anything to this small business tax filing thing?
